Activities by Regions_East
Activities that can be experienced in the eastern region, located to the right of Jeju's Mt. Halla, include a Gimnyeong yacht tour boasting beautiful emerald seascapes, a horseback riding experience across Jeju's plain and coastlines, the Saryeoni Forest Trail, Bijarim Forest, and Sangumburi Trekking which each offer opportunities to appreciate Jeju's authentic pristine forests. In addition, Yongnuni Oreum, located in the easternmost part of Jeju, offers a panoramic view of Seongsang Ilchulbong and Udo Island. Furthermore, we also highly recommend Oreum trekking to take in a wide variety of charming scenery depending on location, height, and season, such as Geum Oreum and Darangswi Oreum.
From Muobeopjeongsa Temple to Donnaeko Valley, (Walking along Dongbaek-gil Trail)
On Hallasan Mountain, a mountain that represents Jeju, there is the Halla Trail, a fantastical forest path where you can meet nature. The Halla Trail, which surrounds the national forest that sits 600 to 800m above sea level, is an 80km-long forest path that connects Muobeopjeongsa, Sioreum Parasitic Cone, Suakgyo Valley, and Iseungak (Iseungi Volcanic Cone) by using a logistics road and forest trail built during the Japanese occupation of Korea and a transport road for shiitake mushroom farms. For some, Halla Trail is a place to experience the history, ecology, and forest culture of Jeju, whereas, for others, it is a place to heal the difficulties of everyday life. Among the various Halla Trails, we introduce Dongbaek-gil Trail where you can heal with nature and view the history and ecology of Jeju from a diverse perspective.

You can visit the film locations of Korean movies, dramas, and entertainment shows that have been set on Jeju, the Hawaii of Korea, where Kim Sae-byeok, number 67 of the world-famous hit Squid Game, wanted to go.
